The winter project started 6 months ago is now completed. Loosely based on the film 'With Fire and Sword' albeit these Cossacks will function in the east with our existing Tatar and Ottoman armies.
The miniatures were cast late last year, then taking some weeks to make the necessary variations. Painted by David Jarvis and myself during the past few months. I painted most of the mounted figures prior to receiving the castings. It was an enjoyable interlude from 18th century marching miniatures.
Currently waiting for further new castings for the next project.
