This is one of our Ottoman Janissary Ortas in campaign dress. It is doubtful the borke headdress would have been in use on campaign but I added some to each orta to distinguish the Janissaries from the irregulars in the collection. Also we colour themed each of these Janissary units.
We have in excess of a 1000 miniatures in the Ottoman collection.
Very colourful and dynamic compared to other armies we have for the 18th century.
