Prussian Officers

As I use a scale of 1:30 for the SYW collection a Prussian converged grenadier battalion is made up of 24 miniatures plus a foot officer and nco. Remember at most a grenadier battalion numbered slightly over 700 men at full strength.

Over the years I have been making 'one-off ' foot officers and nco's for my Prussian converged grenadier battalions.

I have over twenty of these battalions but only two thirds have a recognized foot officer. Anyway, a few weeks ago I made the officer for 7/30 and based it yesterday. I usually make action poses but in this case went back to a walking/parade looking figure.

I have included a few photos of other Prussian foot officers, a typical nco and a battalion in action.

Also, I based a vignette for the New Spain collection.
